Since I was a little kid I've always been in love with the moving image, so naturally I've been dabbling in these dark arts, on & off, for a while now.
Until a few years ago this meant mainly using Vegas (& sometimes Toon Boom); I now use packages like After Effects & Cinema 4D to augment my skills & have completed several pieces, including some surreal abstracts, animations, music & web promos.
For a while I was enrolled on a National Diploma in Moving Image, where my tutors informed me that I had a "highly individual & interesting visual style". :) More fool them!
Remember: I work cheap, so feel free to contact me if you're up for collaborations or commissions of any kind.
Fzv - "Flutter, Clank" (5m 26s, Bad Sekta)
Bit of a ropey experiment in waveforms, produced over a particularly strange evening in my old static caravan. Soundtrack is a nice Fzv track, taken from the first Bad Sekta compilation, "Various Autists 2".

Hekula - "You & Me Infinity" (4m 05s, Bad Sekta)
Part of a pleasantly surreal evening spent in Me & Mrs. Phuq's new work room. Soundtrack is an old Hekula track of mine, taken from the Bad Sekta compilation "We Are Legion".

Lastboss - "Xin Who?" (5m 19s, Bad Sekta)
A video I've been working on, on & off, for the last year & a half or so(!); the wicked title track from Lastboss' "Xin Who?" EP soundtracks clips from the movie "Tetsuo", various Japanese flavoured footage, as well as some of Tate winning the Laptop Battle Tokyo last year.

Phuq - "Amerikkka" (1m 18s, Bad Sekta)
A short with a vaguely political "narrative", thrown together in the caravan from some footage I had kicking about from Shortfacedbear.

Phuq - "Another K-Hole" (8m 22s, Bad Sekta)
A simple re-edit of the Greg Arraki film "The Doom Generation" (which I recommend), put to my track "Another K-Hole" (taken from my EP "Metaprograms I Have Known & Loved") & intended for live visuals at my gigs.

Phuq - "Antknee Party" (2m 36s, Bad Sekta)
My mate Antknee got left behind at 2008's "Squat Wars - Return of the Scum" party in London. He foolishly phone-cammed his demented explorations of the vacant floors of the warehouse, complete with gibberings & a naive attempt to film some hostile geezers while they tagged the place. Obviously I had to mangle it a bit, just for a laugh like...

Phuq - "Can't Trust Dogs" (1m 08s, Bad Sekta)
Low-res footage of Stewart & Elaine's dogs, from my few months living with them in North Wales. Kaleidoscoped & textured one night when I was trying to remember how to process video.

Phuq - "Ill FM Web Promo" (0m 26s, Ill FM)
A short animated web promo, made as a gift to my mates at Ill FM.

Phuq - "informedCONTROL" (3m 12s, Bad Sekta)
An early attempt at re-editing existing footage (in this case a Japanese photocopier advert & clips from the movies "The Terminator" & "Dune".

Phuq - "Manip (Redux)" (0m 49s, Bad Sekta)
A short study of a 3D transforming structure, constructed, rendered, aged & processed while I was still in Wales.

Phuq & Roo - "Roo World" (1m 39s, Bad Sekta)
An ultra-basic animation of some of my mate Roo's cartoons. I produced this over a few evenings & it seems to have performed its function (i.e. getting Roo to actually work on a "proper" animation with me).

Phuq & Shortfacedbear - "Perception" (?m ??s, Bad Sekta)
A lo-fi collaboration with Shortfacedbear (& my second ever video), taken from his "Value" DVDR for Bad Sekta. Grainy studio footage mixed with some vintage newsreels & animation.
